MioWorks is designed around people, we call these people CONTACTS. Contacts include prospects, customers, suppliers, employees and anyone else involved in the small business. Contacts can be entered one by one or they can be imported from existing systems or files.
When working with Contacts, the MioUser has the option to work with individual contacts or with collections of contacts. MioWorks provides three different ways to work with collections of contacts. These include:
- SmartGroups that dynamically organize a list based upon selected criteria (useful for tracking all contacts in a particular city)
- Lists that are static collections of contacts that are assigned to the list (useful for following up on a physical mailer)
- Multi-select is a feature of the contact index that allows the MioUser to select multiple contacts from the main page
For all of the collections of contacts listed above, the MioUser can perform actions that apply the the entire group. This capability greatly increases productivity and reduces the amount of time spent performing administrative actions.
