Importing contacts allows you to quickly consolidate your client information into a single source and reduce your risk of loss. Once your contacts are inside of MioWorks, you can rest assured that backups are taking place on a regular basis.
MioWorks provides you with several options to import contacts depending on the source of the information.
CSV file – Comma Separated Value (CSV) is a type of a file that MioWorks can import. If you are using a format other than the ones described below, your CSV file will need to be manipulated into the order described by our CSV import template.
Gmail - MioWorks allows you to directly connect to your Gmail account and automatically pull all contact information into your site. MioWorks will also recognize a CSV file export from Google.
InfoUSA – InfoUSA provides contact information in a CSV file format. MioWorks is able to recognize the InfoUSA format and automatically import the records.
LinkedIn – LinkedIn allows you to export your contacts into the vCard format. MioWorks allows you to import the vCard file.
Microsoft Outlook – Outlook allows you to export your contacts to a CSV file. You may upload the CSV file directly into MioWorks and it will be automatically recognized and imported.
vCard – Calendaring, email, address book and many other systems allow you to export contact information in vCard format. You can import vCards into MioWorks with no additional modification.
Yahoo! – Yahoo! allows you to export your contacts to a CSV file. You may upload that CSV file directly into MioWorks and it will be automatically recognized and imported.
